Step 1: Download the Platform
Begin by opening a web browser on your VPS. To download MT4 or MT5 platform, go to the official MetaQuotes website or your broker’s website to download the MetaTrader platform, ensuring compatibility with their servers.
Click the download link for MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 and save the installer file to an easy-to-access location, like your desktop.
Step 2: Install the MetaTrader Platform
Run the installer by double-clicking the downloaded file (e.g., mt4setup.exe or mt5setup.exe). Follow the installation wizard and click “Next” to proceed with the installation. You can also specify your preferred platform installation folder by clicking “Settings”.
Once the installation is complete, click “Finish.”
Step 3: Launch the MetaTrader Platform
After installation, a shortcut should appear on your VPS desktop or in the Start menu. Double-click this shortcut to launch your MT4 or MT5 platform.
Step 4: Log Into Your Trading Account
When prompted, enter your broker’s name and select your trading server from the list. Input your login credentials provided by your broker and choose between a “Live” or “Demo” account, depending on your preference.
